Taylor Brock (Alpha Xi Chapter '16)

Career Advising Fellow, Elon University

Taylor graduated from Radford University with a B.A. in English and went on to obtain her M.Ed In Higher Education from the University of Virginia. In her current role she advises students from all majors and years on everything related to their careers, from editing resumes and cover letters to finding the right fit for an internship or a post-graduate experience. Writing resumes and cover letters as well as interviewing is something Taylor is very familiar with as she herself just went through the process and is currently looking for opportunities after her fellowship at Elon University ends in May. Drawing on her own personal experience as well as the knowledge she has gained working in career services, Taylor hopes to educate people on how to make the best professional first impression be it in application documents or during the interview process.

Omari Daniels (Beta Mu Chapter '12)

Copy Aide, The Washington Post

Omari Daniels graduated from The George Washington University's School of Media & Public Affairs with a Bachelors in Journalism & Mass Communication. He has worked in the newsroom and communications field since then, starting with a career as a Production Assistant with the Book TV and American History TV departments at C-SPAN, Visitor Services at the Newseum in downtown Washington, D.C., and working as a communications contractor with the General Services Administration (GSA). There, he assisted the outreach team in writing, gathering, and editing content for the team's monthly Category Management newsletter and assisted with monitoring content published on the team's online, virtual Gateway. He will soon be taking on a new role as a Copy Aide with The Washington Post. In his spare time, he works as a freelance staff writer for the website known as Heroic Hollywood, where he gets to combine two of his passions: writing and film/television.
