Shane Miller (Alpha Mu Chapter '17)
Land Representative-Ownership, Chevron North America Exploration and Production Company
Shane Miller joined Chevron in 2013 (having served as an in-house contractor since 2011) and assumed his current role as Land Representative – Ownership in the Land Department of Chevron North America Exploration and Production Company, in June 2016. In January 2019 he added the additional role of Digital Fluency Product Owner on the Land Digital Transformation Team. Prior to his current appointment, he served as a Land Representative in Chevron’s Appalachian Mountain Business Unit, based in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. Mr. Miller holds bachelor’s degrees in political science and history and a master’s degree in educational leadership, all from West Virginia University. Additionally, he is a Registered Professional Landman with the American Association of Professional Landmen and a Certified Professional Lease and Title Analyst with the National Association of Lease and Title Analysts. Among his civic and industry affiliations, Mr. Miller serves on the Steering Committee of the Houston Symphony’s Young Associates Council, as a member of the Ambassadors Committee of the Houston Ballet, and as a member of the National Council, Boy Scouts of America. He is also a member of the Petroleum Club of Houston.
