As an Alumni Advisor, you have been selected by the Chapter to provide support as they strive to fulfill Phi Sigma Pi’s mission to improve humanity with honor through strong operational practices, providing meaningful programming for Chapter Members, and making an impact on their campus and in their community. The Collegiate Chapter’s governing documents should clearly outline the role and responsibilities of the Alumni Advisor, and this training will provide an overview of what you need to know to be successful in this important role.

Every year new trends pop up in the legal world. As an Advisor, it is important that you understand how they affect you and the Phi Sigma Pi Chapter you advise.
The objectives of this sessions is to: differentiate between the three (3) different types of Advisors Phi Sigma Pi has and their unique responsibilities, understand your role as an Advisor, become familiar with how Alumni Advisor's liability will be evaluated, realize what the Volunteer Protection Act applies and obtain recommendations on best practices to implement.
Fraternal Law Partners, a division of Manley Burke, LPA, is the only law practice dedicated to the legal issues impacting fraternities, sororities, student life organizations, and their related charitable foundations.
