Enrolling in the Executive Leadership Program marks the initial step towards becoming an Executive Leadership Program candidate. As a Phi Sigma Pi Member, this opportunity offers candidates the chance to initiate a journey of growth and development in leadership. By enrolling in the Executive Leadership Program, candidates open the door to discovering their leadership potential and honing essential skills. This step signifies their commitment to embarking on a path that will shape their leadership abilities and provide valuable insights. Through this enrollment, candidates are taking the first stride toward an enriching experience that will empower them to become a capable and effective leader in the future.

The "True Colors" course offers candidates an insightful journey into understanding their individual leadership styles through the lens of the True Colors Inventory. In this course, candidates will complete the True Colors assessment, gaining insights

into their primary strength (or color) and recognizing the nuanced interplay of traits across all colors. Moreover, candidates will understand how to harness the strengths associated with their primary color and foster a community that allows their inherent attributes to shine through. Course Highlights:

• Completing True Colors Inventory:
  • Candidates will engage in the True Colors assessment, unveiling their primary color and gaining a deeper understanding of their leadership style.

• Exploring Color Traits:
  • Discover how everyone exhibits traits from all colors, leading to a more comprehensive understanding of individual and team dynamics.

• Leveraging Color Strengths:
  • Understand the unique strengths associated with each True Color profile. Candidates will learn how to apply their natural strengths to enhance their leadership effectiveness.

• Empowering Natural Strengths:
  • Learn techniques to enable individual strengths to shine within a team setting. Candidates will gain insights into fostering a community that values and amplifies these inherent attributes.

Learning Outcomes

Candidates will have discovered their unique leadership style through the True Colors assessment, gained insights into color traits and strengths, and learned how to apply these attributes within an organizational setting effectively. These skills empower candidates to lead authentically, contribute meaningfully to their teams, and align their strengths with organizational success.

The "17 Characteristics of an Excellent Member" course offers candidates an enriching exploration of the key attributes that define excellence within a member's role. In this course, candidates will review the comprehensive list of 17 Characteristics of an Excellent Member, engage in a self-evaluation process to identify strengths and growth areas within these characteristics and embrace a personal challenge to actively implement these traits in their leadership journey.

• Reviewing the Characteristics:
  • Candidates will review the 17 Characteristics of an Excellent Member, gaining a thorough understanding of the attributes that contribute to exemplary membership, but more importantly to contribute as an effective community member.

• Self-Evaluation and Reflection:
  • Explore a process to identify personal strengths and areas for improvement related to each characteristic. This reflection aids candidates in developing a clear picture of their current abilities.

• Taking on Personal Challenges:
  • Candidates will be inspired to embark on a personal challenge to put the 17 Characteristics into action within their professional/personal roles. This active implementation cultivates growth and meaningful contributions.

and engage in introspection by recalling their own

"lollipop moment," and revisit core values to align their actions with meaningful leadership principles.

  • Candidates will view Drew Dudley's TED Talk, "Everyday Leadership," which sheds light on the significance of small actions and moments in shaping leadership experiences.

• Reflecting on Lollipop Moments:
  • Explore personal experiences that embody leadership impact. Candidates will reflect on their own "lollipop moments," recognizing instances where their actions made a positive difference and how to create future moments.

• Revisiting Core Values:
  • Review and consider core values that define one's leadership philosophy. Aligning actions with these values enhances authenticity and purpose in everyday leadership.
