Recruitment & Retention Incentives

Chapter Induction Goals & Incentives

Grow our Brotherhood. Strengthen Your Chapter. Earn Chapter Credit.

To support the long-term success, sustainability, and impact of your Chapter, we’re excited to offer Induction goals and incentives. By inducting new Members, your Chapter not only grows in strength and potential, but also earns Chapter Credit - which can be applied toward:

  • The Chapter’s National Dues payment in Fall 2026
  • The Chapter’s Grand Chapter Meeting Delegate’s registration fee
  • Ordering Recruitment T-Shirts from the National Office
  • Ordering a promotional banner from the National Office to use for Recruitment

The more new Members you welcome, the more your Chapter earns!

Foundation Goal: 40% Induction

  • Goal: Induct at least 40% new Members based on your official Student Member count as of December 1, 2025.
  • Incentive: Earn a $20 Chapter Credit per new Member
  • Example: If your Chapter has 40 Student Members, your goal is to induct at least 16 new Members. 16 new Members = $320 total credit

Growth Goal: 50% Induction

  • Goal: Induct at least 50% new Members based on your Student Member count as of December 1, 2025.
  • Enhanced Incentive: Earn a $25 Chapter Credit per new Member. This replaces the $20 per person incentive from the base goal.
  • Example: If your Chapter has 40 Student Members, your goal is to induct at least 20 new Members. 20 new Members = $500 total credit

Excel Goal: 60%+ Induction

  • Goal: Induct at least 60% new Members based on your December 1, 2025 Student Member count.
  • Maximum Incentive: Earn a $30 Chapter Credit per new Member. This replaces the lower-tier credits from the 40% and 50% goals.
  • Example: If your Chapter has 40 Student Members, your goal is to induct at least 24 new Members. 24 new Members = $720 total credit

Term & Eligibility Requirements

This incentive program applies to new Members your Chapter inducts during the Spring 2026 Term only. The National Staff will provide your Chapter’s specific foundation goal number.

To receive Chapter Credit, your Chapter must:

  • Meet all required reporting due dates
  • Submit an accurate Spring Induction Report through the PSPCC by the deadline

Why These Goals Matter for Your Chapter

  • Sustain and grow your Chapter’s events, service, and programs
  • Increase leadership opportunities and Member connections
  • Reduce the Chapter’s financial commitment in future terms
  • Strengthen your Chapter’s legacy and National presence

Let’s work together to grow your Chapter, welcome new Members, and earn Chapter Credit that gives back to your Brotherhood!

If you recruit 5 or more New Members who are inducted in Spring 2026, you’ll receive a $150 gift card as a thank-you for being an MVP recruiter!

How It Works:

  • A recruit counts only if they are officially inducted during Spring 2026
  • To be eligible, the person you recruit must enter your name when they claim their Phi Sigma Pi account
  • You must be listed as the referring Member in the system
  • Rewards will be distributed after Fall Inductions are confirmed and reported
  • Both your Member dues and the New Member’s dues must be paid to the National Office before any reward is issued

Why Participate?

  • Help strengthen your Chapter with new leaders and ideas
  • Grow the Brotherhood and build deeper connections

Make a lasting impact and earn awesome rewards while doing it!

Retention Incentives for Chapters

Provided by the National Office to support Member Retention & Engagement

What is Retention?

Retention refers to keeping Members actively engaged and enrolled in your Chapter from one term to the next. For this challenge, retention is measured by comparing how many fully active Student Members your Chapter has billed in Fall 2025 to how many fully active Student Members are billed in Spring 2026.

Nationally Inactive Members are not included in this calculation. Only fully active Student Members count toward the percentage. Graduates are factored into this number, meaning if a Member graduates at the end of Fall 2025, they will not be expected to return in Spring 2026 and will not negatively impact your Chapter’s retention rate.

The focus is on Members who remain active and continue their membership without taking an inactive status.

Term-to-Term Retention Challenge

Goal: Retain as many Fall 2025 Members as possible through Spring 2026

To support the long-term success, sustainability, and impact of your Chapter, the National Office is offering Chapter Credit for meeting retention goals.

Chapter Credit can be applied toward:

  • The Chapter’s National Dues payments
  • The Chapter’s Grand Chapter Meeting Delegate’s registration fee
  • Ordering Recruitment T-Shirts from the National Office
  • Ordering a promotional banner from the National Office to use for Recruitment

Benchmarks & Incentives

  • Level 1 — 85-89% Retention: $50 Chapter Credit
  • Level 2 — 90-99% Retention: $100 Chapter Credit
  • Level 3 — 100% Retention: $150 Chapter Credit

Details

  • Retention percentages are calculated using the number of fully active Student Members billed in Fall 2025 compared to fully active Student Members billed in Spring 2026.
  • Credits will be applied directly to the Chapter’s account with the National Office.
  • Chapters reaching 100% retention will receive both the maximum credit and a special spotlight feature in the National Newsletter.

Examples

Example 1 — 85% Retention:

  • Fall 2025: 20 fully active Student Members billed
  • Spring 2026: 17 fully active Student Members billed
  • 17 ÷ 20 = 85% retention = Chapter earns $75 credit

Example 2 — 90% Retention:

  • Fall 2025: 20 fully active Student Members billed
  • Spring 2026: 18 fully active Student Members billed
  • 18 ÷ 20 = 90% retention = Chapter earns $100 credit

Example 3 — 100% Retention:

  • Fall 2025: 20 fully active Student Members billed
  • Spring 2026: 20 fully active Student Members billed
  • 20 ÷ 20 = 100% retention = Chapter earns $150 credit
